Looks fantastic Phil, without a doubt, if I were looking I would be round tomorrow with a sack of cash, I'd 100% take the ceramics too. This should sell fairly snappy.

Brake Update;

On the assumption that nobody is going to want to pay the extra for the Ceramics, they are due to be removed on Thursday. The plan was to replace the old discs and pads that have been in the garage for 2 years, but having dug them out I now remembered why they were removed in the first place......

.....so the car will now also get brand new OEM discs and pads fitted to the front on Thursday as well. Can't help but think I'm being too generous here...!

If I were in the market, I would have taken it at £20k with the ceramics no question. Have you had much interest yet?

Ceramics are planned for fitment to the next car, which will undoubtedly still be an Audi (possibly an S4 - I know, I know, but I want a manual again and something a bit more economic....) and should fit with a bit of jiggery with the caliper brackets and possibly bells. Would consider a separate sale, but as they last forever and cost north of seven bags to replace, they would need a decent offer to help me fund a new set for the S4..... They are really rather good though.

Fair amount of interest, but I do want it to go to a good home. Spoke to a few in the enthusiast car trade about the car and most reckon I might be under pricing it, but like I said, it would be good to move it on if it goes to a good home where it will continue to be looked after, as it deserves.

Your car is under priced, I'd not sweat it until after xmas.
Are the brakes all four of just the fronts. PM me your price.

Lovely car. I see you've invented time travel for fitting the new gearbox, cool :)

Wish I could afford to buy it, alas my other half has nicked all our money for home improvements. Hopefully the 2002 "snotter" I'm looking at will work out okay!

The mainbeam H7's on the RS6 are easy to upgrade, provided that you don't go for those cheap rubbish Chinese kits. Mine came from http://www.hids4u.co.uk (I know, tacky name), but they are all high quality kits with accurate globes for a proper beam pattern. Go for the 50w ballasts for the full daylight effect and I don't believe we need special CANBUS-safe versions, as mine has been fine all along.

Ballasts can be sited just behind the headlamp units and they're easy to fit. Fuses need upgraded to 20A jobs, but other than that - all very easy.

Didn't see that coming. You do know there's a difference between consistency and repetitive?
Anyway, can you book a Plus or is it only the standard that books?
