I must say i was shocked to see your last post.

I was brought up not to divulge to anyone, any private conversation you had with anyone regarding any business discussions, that was to be kept between the 2 parties involved.

So you leave me no choice but to reply to your allegations against me.

Firstly can i say i only deal with facts, not cheap gossip.

Fact (1) I never bid you any price for your car.
Fact (2) I asked you to send me some photos of your car, you replied, "That's a waste of time, i could send you the pictures of any car, not mine "
Fact (3) I kept asking you what would be the lowest price you would accept for your car, you kept telling me that it was the best RS4 for sale today and you thought it was worth every penny, and an Audi main dealer had offered you £29k for your car in p/x, so the discussion ended.

Can i suggest that you have NOT been bid £29k for your car, if so, why would you offer it for sale on this forum for £28,250 ???

If you cared to take a look at what current 07 RS4s are up for sale at, and what they have SOLD at, even with only 10,000 miles on the clock, your car is not worth up to £5,000.00 more !!!!

Look at what cars have sold at on the classified section of this site, cars in excellent condition, well looked after, FSH, average mileage, your car's price has to be competitive to sell, and have pictures of it, inside and out, for prospective buyers to look at, not priced way over the odds because it has a low mileage !!!

Andy, i'm not going to rant and rave at you like you did me, you know what i'm saying is the truth, i'ts just so difficult to get you to realise that your car, in my humble opinion, is not worth what you are asking and as i advised you when we last spoke on the 'phone, take that fantastic bid off your dealer and don't mess about trying to sell it elsewhere.

One last point, i will not, as you kindly put it, be buying a load of <beep> for £20k, i have a lot more ready cash available, but like all of us on here, i've worked hard and paid taxes all my life to have money to spend on a car like these, and i'll be buying the car that i feel is at the right price for me, no one else.

All the best

Victor

PS Would you take £18k right now ?

huh :assflash: vic if i thought you had 18 grand and you wanted an rs4 i i would contact you but alass i think it will be traded for a rs5 next week, thanks for your intrest/input :bigwave: andy :biggrin3:

Andy,

Pleased to see you have no argument with my reply, facts are difficult to argue with aren't they.

I can see that spelling is not one of your strongest attributes

vic, small v
alass !!! ( is she local ) ?
a rs5
intrest

Ask someone for a dictionary for Christmas ( It's a book that you can refer to, whenever you want to put anything down in writing :nodder: )

Lastly your question, "If i thought you had £18k and you wanted an RS4, i would contact you"

OK, now Andy, let's see if you can put your money where your mouth is, I'll bet you £5k cash, i can produce, not £18k, but £25k CASH, in front of a witness from this forum, anywhere, anytime.

Now let's see who the bullshitter is ??

Andy,

You asked me a question, on this forum and i've answered it.

If you're backing down, i have no problem with that, but have the courage to admit it.

My offer is still on the table.

Simple question,

Yes or no ?

I'm sure the creditors listed on you bankruptcy order will be overjoyed to hear that.

Maybe best that, given your current position, you have a little think before posting such statements. After all, you never know who'll be reading.

Steve,

Yes you are correct, i was 'self employed' for over 30 years and the recession affected my business so much, that after ploughing thousands of pounds of my personal money into it, trying to keep my staff in jobs and support my family and keep my business going, i had no choice.
Would you be prepared to do the same ??
I wasn't a partner in a law firm, like yourself, so i couldn't just walk away like you can.
I'm not the first and i certainly won't be the last.
I hope you never find yourself in the same position as me.
What goes around, comes around.
And.............
Who's to say i'm not bluffing ???

I have been in contact

victor, you will get what you pay for end of

it would seem that victor basis his value of rs4's on what an audi dealer would give you on a trade in thats why he's never ever going to get what he wants because he's always going to be 2-3 grand short of the value of any car he looks at,i cant for the life of me understand why anyone should give him such a discount unless they are selling a total piece of <beep> or really desperate to offload their car, myself i'm not desperate to sell my car as i think its a very fine example,i have had audi dealers offer me far more than victor would ever want to spend so i have to ask myself WHAT EXACTLY DOES HE WANT because if its a car of the quality i have then he'll never find one under 25 grand,so i will repeat again what i have said to victor several times now that if he wants the car with almost the spec he wants in the condition he wants then i dont think 28250 is a bad price to pay, maybe victor is looking for a rs4 for 20 grand and not a low milage mint daytona grey saloon in the required spec, anyway victor if its still here next week i will trade it for a rs5 and get the 28250 then you can bitch about an audi stealer selling it for 5 grand more than what its worth (in your opinion) all the best in you search andy

I had the same problem with Victor, the blokes just a wind up, your allowed to offer people what u want, but if they don't accept your offer just shut the <beep> up and move on.

£28.5 is a bargain if it's a garaged, absolutely immaculate example with the necessary two services no more than 24 months apart etc etc. These are collectable and there are lots of people who want the very best.

Much amusement the other day when I spotted Bramley have a 22k example asking price 35k!!!
