For Sale: High-Spec B7 RS4 Avant — Carbon Ceramics — Cherry Black — Wingbacks

Post by js47 » Tue Oct 14, 2025 6:50 pm

This is a very special specification and I genuinely hate to sell it, but we are moving to Australia at the end of the year and unfortunately it just does not make sense to store it here or ship it there. The car is located in Bristol BS8. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Specification Highlights:
  • Carbon Ceramic Brakes: Very rare option due to how expensive they were, same setup as the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracan. Super cool. They weigh 25kg less than the steel brakes — and that is 25kg less unsprung weight so it is a much bigger difference than it sounds.
  • Cherry Black Pearl paint colour: This is a very deep, mysterious purple. I was told that there are only 3 B7 RS4s in existence in this colour (2 in Europe and 1 in Canada). At a casual glance it can look black — it is very classy and understated. In some conditions it really pops.
  • Wingback Seats: the inflatable bolsters are fully operational
  • MRC Tuned and Serviced to 423bhp @ 8123rpm.
  • Milltek Exhaust: Resonated centre sections are installed currently but I will be including the unresonated centre sections with sale in case the buyer would prefer it a bit louder. They did sound great but I didn’t love waking the entire neighborhood when I left early in the morning. Now I only wake half the neighborhood!
  • Sunroof Delete: No pesky leaks! And a lower centre of gravity. Honestly I am not sure why more RS4s weren’t spec’d like this.
  • DRC has been replaced with Bilstein coilovers (Spring 2025).
  • Actually, this car was spec’d with every single factory option available, though the “RS4” logo puddle lights have seen better days. Maybe they can be restored but I never looked into it because they always felt a bit over the top to me.
  • I will be including a replacement Android headunit. The car has already been fully wired for this since it is the system that the previous owner used so it should be a very easy swap.
  • I have the V5C in-hand and own the car outright with no loans/liens. The vehicle has no accidents and I have a decently sized stack of service records. MOT is valid through the end of July 2026 with no advisories. It will be supplied with the 2 original working remote keys, plus the original spare key.

The car currently has 143k miles on the odometer. I have owned this car for nearly 4 years and have added about 30k miles in that time.

This car has been serviced and lightly modified by MRC Tuning in Banbury. There are 3 engine maps: one for RON99 V-Power or Momentum, one for RON95 or non-Tesco/Shell RON99, and the third map is an immobiliser. Power was at 423 bhp @ 8124 rpm and torque was at 440 Nm @ 5771 rpm after carbon clean. Redline is at 8500 rpm and the 155 mph electronic speed limiter has been removed. The manifold intake flaps have also been removed (these are prone to falling off inside the engine and destroying it).

Service Record Highlights:
  • 2007-2017: Minor Services performed by Audi Dealers every ~7.5k miles
  • Nov 2019 @ ~100k: Both auxiliary radiators replaced
  • Jan 2021 @ 110k: New Spark Plugs, Engine oil and filter replaced, air filter replaced, pollen filter replaced (minor service)

    • Manifold Inlets Deflapped
    • All Fuel Injectors Replaced
    • All Spark Plugs Replaced
    • All Coil Packs Replaced

    • Coolant Tank Replaced
    • Stage 2 Tune Performed with Map Switch for 95RON (map1), 99RON (map2), and immobiliser (map3)
    • MOT
  • July 2024 @ 134k: New battery and airbag recall service performed by Audi Bristol
  • April 2025 @ ~140k:
    • Minor Service: Engine Oil and Filter Changed, Pollen Filter Changed, etc.
    • New Bilstein Coilovers installed
    • Most suspension peripherals also replaced at this time
  • August 2025: New driveshaft carrier bushing installed
  • Michelin PS4S tyres all have either 2023 and 2024 date codes.
  • This car has been run almost exclusively on Tesco Momentum 99 or Shell V-Power 99 during my ownership.

Known Issues:
This car is old enough to legally drink the ethanol in its petrol and has been driven halfway to the moon so do not expect to be getting a brand new vehicle with no problems, but there is nothing major afoot that I am aware of.
  • The paint looks pretty good overall but there are a few door dings and rock chips if you look for them. No rust that I can see other than on the black-painted aluminum rear door inserts, which can be replaced separately if desired.
  • When it is cold, it can be a little sticky to select first gear.
  • The interior looks really good for the mileage in my opinion, but there are definitely some scuffs here and there.
  • When I was cleaning the RNS-E screen in preparation for taking interior photos for selling, I accidentally banged up against the ribbon cable and slightly ripped it. As a result, the screen does not really work anymore. But the radio is still fully functional (and you can see your station on the display between the tachymeter and speedometer). You did not want to use navigation circa 2007 anyway, and the UK turned off the TV feature over a decade ago. In any case, a new ribbon cable is £18 on eBay. Or you can pop in the Android headunit that was used by the previous owner — the car is fully wired up for it.
  • There is a squeak coming from the front left coilover. Sometimes this manifests a clangs/bangs. This issue was not present before changing to the Bilstein suspension earlier this year. I am working on getting this sorted out before sale, but with the upcoming move have been short on time. Bilstein believe this to be a warranty issue. Whatever the issue is, due to its nascensy and intermittentness, I think it should be fairly minor to correct. But in case I can’t get it fixed pre-sale any potential buyer should be aware of it.

I currently have this listed on eBay at £18000, but I am not concerned with getting absolute top dollar. It is more important for me to have a smooth sale to a buyer who will properly appreciate how special this car is.
