RS4 B7 Avant Daytona Grey - 26k miles on an 08 plate.
RS4 B7 Avant Daytona Grey - 26k miles on an 08 plate.
Hi
Looking for advice on valuation please as can’t make sense of market at the moment.
One owner from new, prior to me. Totally standard, black optics and with comfort seats.
Superbly maintained, stored in heated garage and only has 26,500 miles and a fresh MOT with no advisories. Needless to say she is immaculate and only tiny fault I can find is a small amount of bubbling of paint on front wing where tyre has rubbed the paint slightly.
08 plate reg, so must be one of the last.
Advice welcome on potential value and best specialist to sell on my behalf.
If any serious interest from anybody on here I’d give first refusal to forum member.
Pics to follow.

A car with slightly more miles (around 32k), and very high spec (heated wingbacks, flat bottom steering wheel, adaptive xenon headlights, Bose/Audi concert stereo, DRC suspension etc)
Was listed on a forum at £28k (as a private sale) and sold in a week, I believe at very close to asking.

A few pics attached.
DRC shocks, front discs, aux rads, battery, air con condenser and exhaust all replaced at audi. Full main dealer history.
Wing corrosion not due to tyre rub as I previously thought, closer inspection looks like paint has lifted on the lip allowing moisture underneath.

Re: RS4 B7 Avant Daytona Grey - 26k miles on an 08 plate.
As already mentioned here a really tricky question to answer.
Given the low mileage and lack of modifications if looking to sell would probably go to an enthusiast investor that has a car collection, maybe £27-£29k would be realistic. The oxidising of the aluminium front wings is a pretty common issue after 15 years.
Looking at the the RS4 sales market it is split, either totally standard cars with DRC(which investors are typically looking for as little mileage will be added) or modified (mainly due to DRC replacement) for enthusiasts that will drive & appreciate them for what they are.
Many are looking for the sports seats & FBSW, although an investor may not be put off by the comfort seats and multi-function steering wheel.
A quick web search threw up "Appreciating Classics" as a sales outlet and there have been a few low mileage examples going through specialist auction sites.
Will be interesting to see what the market does next.
Good luck if you do decide to sell.

OP - I agree with the other poster, you are looking at £26-28k IMO. Avants seem slightly more desirable than saloons and Daytona is a desirable colour with black optics etc. But the lack of wingbacks and FBSW will go against you.
Also, standard cars are great but DRC, oil cooler, aux rads, carbon clean will all need doing unless the buyer wishes to just store it and do a couple of hundred miles each year. So that's another £8k the buyer needs to factor in.

Interested in this, have sent you a PM pal

Hi. Thanks for all the advice and PMs.
Market appears strong for genuine low mileage one owner cars as such I’ve had two trade offers well into the 30s already.

That really does surprise me what with the lack of buckets, flat bottom wheel and the fact that it also doesn't have the carbon trim. I would snap their hand off if they are offering you in the 30's.
There have been a few examples this year that have been on even lower mileage than yours that traders have been trying to sell at mid-high 30s and they haven't sold.
FS Performance usually buy B7's, stick a few grand on top and sell them on so they may be interested if they haven't contacted you already. They bought a 35k mile car a few months back for £25k and sold it on for £30k.
