A new unexpected job position has opened the door to a company car scheme, so I am putting my pride and joy up for sale. I am in no rush to sell, no P/X thank you. A picture from PistonHeads yesterday:

88,838 miles at time of writing (this is still in daily use so will increase ~ 150 miles/week)

Last service by MRC at 81,000 miles (in Feb 2015)
472PS / 586Nm

The car wants for nothing, and always has Audi OEM parts or the best aftermarket. Only MRC or Audi have worked on the car, and it’s always been maintained and cared for to the highest standard, by the previous owner (RS4will) and myself.

The only issue I have had, was the alarm going off randomly. I have fitted a brand new genuine battery (£200) and a brand new alarm siren which seems to have stopped the issue. A common problem on Mk5 Golf platforms, that share this siren (and a Bentley Mulsanne…!)

The car has been modified – I have ALL standard parts with the vehicle, which are listed below. So all modifications are reversible and original parts can be refitted.

Oil & Filter changed using genuine parts between services by myself. Last service was 81,000 so I would change the oil in 3,000 miles time. I will include a 20 litre barrel of Audi Genuine oil for the new owner.

New charge cooler fitted June 2014 to replace a damaged one.

7-Speed DSG – last serviced by Audi
034 Motorsport transmission mount

Suspension
H&R front (adjustable) and rear Anti Roll Bars (33092-1)
KW V2 Inox Coilovers
New Genuine Audi Top Mounts, fastners etc used in the swap
Suspension geometry setup by Spires Engineering in Warwickshire.

The car handles very well given its size/weight. The dampers are adjustable, and are currently setup for my daily commute which is mostly fast A-roads. These aren’t bumpy or crashy at all. Ride height is lower than standard, but still very sensible (good ground clearance, no wheel/arch contact even with 5 adults)

Wheels & Tyres
A winter and a summer set of wheels are included
Summer Wheels: 19” 7-arm Double Spoke alloys, refurbished 2 years ago, immaculate condition, always have wheel wax applied.
Summer Tyres: 6-month old Michelin Pilot Supersport (excellent tyres)
Winter Wheels: 18” 5 spoke alloys, plastidipped to a grey/anthracite, fair condition
Winter Tyres: Michelin Pilot Aplin (new winter 2014) only run for 4 months

Body
Finished in Phantom Black Pearl, regularly washed and waxed with Porboys/Meguiars products. No stone chips or cracks to the windscreen.
Front bumper and bonnet line have stone chips, there is a small dent in the passenger side rear door. Black mesh added behind front grille to limit stone chip damage to charge cooler/cooling pack.

Thanks very much - I've given in a thorough clean, and also summarised a few questions from the last few e-mails/PM.

Questions

Will you discount the car if I don't want some parts?

Yes, I am willing to sell the winter wheels and coilovers separately, knocking off £350 for the winter wheels & tyres, and £500 for the KW coilovers (standard OE parts fitted).

I.e. Without coilovers or winter wheels, £17,400

How many previous owners has the car had?

Four, the last owenr (rs4will) purchased the car with 49,000 miles, I bought it from him with 69,000 miles.

Will you take part-ex?

No thank you, I already have a replacement

Some additional information I forgot in the original advert:

Brakes replaced ~ 12 months ago, fitted with Brembo Discs and EBC Red Pads front and rear, ATE Blue Fluid.

Aluminium shift paddle extensions- can be removed, but mean you can change gear using the paddles if you have steering lock on.

Photos from this morning, I have also included scuffs, stone chips and the small dent in the passenger rear door.

Friday morning update: Next weekend (Oct 31st) I’ll remove the coilovers and refit OE shocks & springs (I will leave new top mounts etc on), I already have a buyer for winter wheels & tyres. If I get time, I’ll change the oil too (prematurely)

Mileage just ticked over 89,000 (will rise ~150miles/week)

With this in mind price reduced to £17,250 ono

Hence the price, it's the cheapest 2010 B8 S4 Avant on eBay by almost £3k currently - and it's in better nick than some 'mint' examples too!

Given the reputation of both MRC and the B8 S4 platform- I did my homework on modifications, and wasn't concerned at all (I'm a Powertrain Engineer by day).

Now back on OE suspension and wearing the original number plate
