Sure is John. Especially on top tax bracket cars like the RS4. Mine is taxed till end of Feb but only if it sells before end of this month!

Seems more effort for the DVLA but I'm sure they'll have a reason why.

Thanks JVJ. Yeah not been snapped up yet but a couple of interested party's. The price is a bargain as far as I'm concerned. I priced it to sell, but it hasn't yet. Probably because I'm in Scotland!!

It has an OE Audi A4 DTM carbon fibre front splitter. I was half thinking of taking it off, hence never mentioned it. It might look good on my A6. Currently it's still on and I will update the ad if I decide to take it off.

Because if you sell it through a particular month, you do not get that months tax back, the new owner also needs to pay for that full month.

The reason being, that DVLA get two months for the price of 1. Expected to be in the region of around £100 mil in the coffers each year.
