I am the 3rd Owner, purchased in October 2012 from P_G who is very active on here. So you can see a lot of the history on here. This is a forum and enthusiast car.

This is my third RS4 having previously had 2 B5’s for a couple of years each. I have loved them all but the B7 is the best in my opinion. The noise, the grip and handling are better than the B5. The B5 does have that turbo kick though which is addictive!

I’m only selling as we’ve decided to try a new mk7 Golf R and downsize on one of our cars. I will no doubt be back in an RS some time in the future though (C7 RS6 hopefully!!)

The car has a full service history. All with Audi until I bought it, MRC thereafter. Last service at 11382miles.

Front Discs replaced 10K ago with new pads.
DRC fully working, no knocks and drives perfect. Just passed MOT. Two front shocks and valves replaced at approx. 32,000 miles.
Battery well TSB completed.
Recaro Comfort seats in good condition.
Carbon Fibre Inlays.
Flat Bottom steering wheel.
Tech Pack (sat nav, Light rain pack + Bluetooth) + 6xCD player in glovebox)
Storage pack.
Manual side blinds (retrofitted).
Heated Front and Rear Seats.
Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror.
All usual RS4 options.
Wheels are in good condition fitted with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 275/30 R19 96Y XL tyres with 4mm all round. No kerbing on the wheels and were refurbed in 2012.

Modifications are:
MRC Tuning Remap. Graph for 431ps.
AAS Non Resonated Exhaust.
Cold Air feed.
K&N Panel Filter.
Hotchkis Anti Roll Bars.
Braided hoses all round with ATE Super Blue Fluid.
Audi R8 Oil and coolant caps
Intake Manifold de-flapped, ported and polished by Revolution approx. June 2011.
DRL and fog Light bulbs replaced with PIAA bulbs and headlights replaced with 2007 MY (de-tango) versions.

De-coke at 89500 miles performed by Revolution December 2011.

Paintwork is in excellent condition for age, you’d never guess the mileage.

2 Keys, full leather RS4 wallet with all manuals and booklets and receipts for just about all work done on it.

Just sailed it’s MOT 2 weeks back.
Taxed till end of Feb 2015.

Car runs perfect and has never let us down in nearly 2 years of ownership. Will be very sorry to see it go.

In my ownership I have replaced the starter motor (due to sticky solenoid – common fault), replaced both oil cooler lines and one started to leak (another common fault) and replaced the rear wiper motor (yes another common fault!). Oh and replaced an engine mount that was giving a DTC.

I hope to get decent pics up at the weekend. I’m in no rush to sell as new car won’t arrive for a few months yet. The price above is fair, so lets see how much interest I get.

The price of this car has now pretty much bottomed out, so you shouldn’t see much depreciation on this going forward. Here is P_G’s original ad with pics from then (car looks the same).

Last two pics just show the carpets are in great nick. However there are rs4 embroidered mats with the car.
Also the boot load cover comes with the car. Its just not currently fitted.
The car condition is great for the miles. New owner won't be disappointed.

Boot liner will come with car.
Drivers seat has a few creases and wear from getting in an out - picture shows them well. Nothing too bad.

I try and price my cars fair and looking at the market, 15K seems a fair price for an RS4 Avant with this mileage and the comfort seats. The condition really is very good. The pictures are high resolution if you click on them and zoom in.

I lied - wasn't 431ps, but only 429.8ps. Still not bad for 100K miles. Now done 114K.

Having driven this car on occasion over the last couple of years I can truly say that it is a pleasure and a thrill to drive. As Simon says, it's in top class condition, drives wonderfully and is truly fault free. Even though I had a B8 S4 over a similar time period, I was drooling over this RS4's immaculate sprint blue paintwork and distinctive V8 presence. If this car had come on the market just a few months ago it would now be mine. As it is, I've now got one of my own.

Car is now on Pistonheads and is the cheapest B7 RS4 Avant on there. This shows that £15K is a good price given this car is mint. It's been cherished.

Road Tax is non transferrable with the new rules from 1st October, so if it doesn't sell before October the 1st, then it'll need taxing by the new owner. As will any second hand car bought from October.

Quite a sneaky change that seems to have had little publicity. Seems the old owner gets a refund from the DVLA after transfer of ownership.
