If it's any concellation you would be getting different fault codes if it was a chain or tensioner fault. I think mine is the cam adjuster and am getting P0340 and P0345. This could well be a plug or coil pack but understand your predicament MaLicE.

6 of the packs were changed not all 8, 2 weren't changed....


still for sale. had a lot of interest but no one showed up yet....

Here's a suggestion mate, change the other 2. It sounds really dodgey what's been done! It's a little suspicious that you won't try fixing this for what could be as little as £120. Also, why haven't you gone back to the garage that did the work??
