BS7 Daytona for sale soon

Post by Gordie1979 » Fri Oct 04, 2013 8:11 pm

I am thinking of selling or trading in my 57 plate Daytona grey saloon RS4 in the next month or so.
It has the following:

42,000 miles on the clock
2 years Audi comprehensive warranty remaining
2 years Audi stone chip insurance
2 years Audi alloy wheel insurance
Recaro leather bucket seats
Flat bottom steering wheel
6 cd changer in glove box
Phone cradle
Sat nav
12 months MOT
12 months road tax
A1 body work, alloys not marked either

I bought it last year from Tonbridge Audi , but I am looking for something a little better on fuel :boohoo:

Anyone got any idea of a private sale price or a trade in price that I should be looking at for the car.

:beerchug:

I can't send you a PM for some reason, but could you provide a breakdown of the services done when/where/mileage?
How many previous owners?
And would a mint 38k mile E46 M3 be any better for you on fuel???
Mortgages, Insurance, Financial Matters.....need help....ask away
RS4.....another :-)

Sorry Max_B, I'm really looking at a Q5 or something similar. Cheers anyway though fella.

Some more info.

Car has 3 previous owners.
I bought it Audi approved so it came with:

145 Multi-point check certificate
Vehicle history check certificate
Vehicle mileage check certificate

It has the following service history:

14/09/2009 - 30462 miles - Walton Audi
12/10/10 - 32120 miles -Walton Audi
29/09/2011 - 33078 miles - Walton Audi
07/10/2013 - 42500 miles - it's booked into Inverness on Monday for a service

I've had a couple of things done to the car under the warranty:

Rear suspension was re-charged at Inverness Audi on 13/02/2013
All 8 coil packs and spark plugs replaced at Inverness Audi 17/08/2013

I'll upload pictures once I know what's happening but it does look like ill be selling rather than trading in. I bought it Audi approved last year (always going to be a bit more expensive) but I received a trade in price today and I would end up loosing between 7 and 8 grand in a year. No chance.

We're there no services done prior to 2009?
Do you have an indicated price?

According to the service history book, 2009 was the first service.
I am getting sent an email on Monday from Audi, stating everything that's been done on the car.
I'm not to sure of a price yet, but I payed £27k last October. Probably be around the £23k mark.

If on the default variable service then very possible that it might not have seen a dealer before then

Geordie, please for the love of God tell me you didn't buy your RS4 without some definite documented concrete 100% proof it had oil before 30462 miles ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
