It's black with black leather interior. Equipment includes electric memory seats, RNS-e sat nav (with 2010 firmware and maps update), BOSE stereo with CD changer, carbon interior pack, cruise control, factory phone mount, folding mirrors and front and rear parking sensors.
I've also added a Parrot MKi9200 bluetooth kit that works for handsfree calls, Bluetooth streaming and plug-in iPod capability (wires run to the centre console behind the handbrake).
Since I've owned the car I have carried out a fairly hefty mechanical overhaul, as at 78k miles it is at the point where the consumables have been consumed. So, to date I have fitted:
- new discs and pads all round
- new ContiSportContact 5 tyres all round
- new OEM shocks front and rear, with new springs at the front
- new control arms at the front
- new cam cover gasket
- new plastic undertray
- wheels refurbished when new tyres fitted
- new glovebox lid damper
- new CV joint boots
- air con re-gassed and disinfected
- new rear wiper motor
- new rear lamp cluster
- new aux drive belt
- new OEM rubber floor mats for winter use
So as you can see, it wants for nothing. The last service alone (a couple of weeks ago) came in at £1500 as any outstanding niggles were resolved.
On top of standard maintenance, there is also an RS4 rear anti-roll bar fitted which does a great job of reducing understeer. I will also include a set of front EBC Yellowstuff pads I recently bought, as I thought the standard pads could be improved upon.
The car has a Cobra Tracker device fitted, so you can take out a subscription and reduce your insurance premiums.

The MOT runs to April 2014, and the tax to Nov 2013.
There are no outstanding faults with the car. Everything works as it should, and I have all of the receipts from my ownership and a few from before. The service book has all the stamps to match the history above, and there is one key present.
I also have a second set of Avus alloys fitted with winter tyres which I have used for one winter - these can be negotiated on top.
This certainly isn't the cheapest S4 for sale, but as an ownership proposition it's probably the safest bet as everything has been done.
