So I viewed the car last weekend. It's a superb example.

Audi completed their 140 point check today, results above. I've offered Martin the asking price including a deposit to secure the car, which is due to be sorted out tomorrow.

Once the V5 is back and the original registration reinstated I'm assuming the sale can go ahead.

Not easy mate selling one of the best RS4's in the country...tried to sell it by being honest, maybe not the best way.

Sorry to mess anyone around that has been hanging on.

Thanks for your comment James. We've tried to do all you have asked which we where happy to do for you ,I have sadly no control over the DVLA.

I will order a new rear light cluster this week, to replace the condensated one, today it also had a full tank of fuel, and will be tucked away in my parents garage and not driven until you collect.

We hope you have a great time with the car.

Didn't come across as being honest IMO. Honesty would of been to stick to

Deposit paid this evening. Looking forward to collecting the car.

Legal limit 1.6mm....a few miles left, i'm sure James can work that out for him self, maybe slightly bitter?

I gave James first refusal without anyone else looking at the car, we came across a stumbling block which look like the car had fallen through. I would say that was quite Honest! obviously not in your eyes! taking the car on my wifes birthday to Audi and hanging around for 3 hours and paid for the inspection out of my own pocket.

I was on a train to London yesterday when I found out and have put a deposit on a brand new car, so I had to say the car was available again so put to PM me as I had no way of putting up pictures.

James then called to say yes he would have it after speaking to Audi direct.

Thank you James for the deposit.

No , not at all , I change all of mine at 3mm or if a few years old as they don't feel the same as fresh rubber . I've just dumped the tyres on the rs4 last month and all the others in the garage run new tyres ... It's a personal thing I've learnt over the years and neglected at my cost in hindsight plus you never know what the previous owner has put em through tbh
