Had a wonderful time since I purchased it in Nov 2011 and can honestly say its been the best car Ive owned, but sadly we have to move it onto another lucky owner as I have an itch for a car with a turbo again and maybe some paddles...more of that another day.
Most of you will have been following our progress on this amazing car as we fettled it to make it better than stock with some subtle mods over the years so here goes the spec.
RS4 Avant in Daytona grey metallic with FASH and 68k miles.
Factory Spec including the following:
Black Optic pack inc privacy glass, black roof rails, window surrounds, grille, mirrors and exhaust trims.
Brushed silver interior trim, centre armrest, electric tilt, slide sunroof with dog guard blind at rear of seats.
LED daytime running lights, Bi xenon adaptive headlights…(these turn round corners with steering wheel)
Parking sensors front and rear.
RS4 floor mats inc footwell lighting activated on entry. (plus a spare set)
Recaro electric bucket seats in black leather and heated front seats & flat bottom steering wheel.
Auto lights, wipers and dimming rear view mirror, cruise control plus coming home lights.
Factory sat nav with 2011 updated disc for East and Western Europe
Audi Bluetooth telephone & TV antenna prep.
Bose 10 speaker factory upgrade with 6 cd in glove box and dual sd cards in dash which store up to 800 tracks.
Audi cat one alarm & Tracker monitor (expires Oct 2013)
Continental Conti sport-3 tyres with fully working pressure monitor system.
Since I've owned this car it's had no expense spared and I've replaced the following:
Front discs, oil cooler pipes, spark plugs, pollen filter, oil separator.
Driver’s seat bolster been retrimmed as was beginning to wear, carbon engine bay covers.
Replaced wiper blades every 6 mths (yes I’m anal) & even had the steering wheel trimmed to get rid of the nasty plastic piece at the bottom of the factory wheel.
No rattles from any trim, no banging from suspension and it literally drives like a new car.
Mods we’ve done are:
H&R lowering front springs 25mm (they sit high as std and now sits nice and level)
Milltek cat back system with black tailpipes and fully resonated with exhaust valves
(Much quieter than non-res & valves controlled by factory steering wheel S button)
Revolution carbon intake kit.
LED Tail lights, black grille badge and boot badges.
Lower front lip spoiler, R8 alloy oil and water caps, boot liner.
EBC pads, Goodridge brakelines, Tarox brake fluid.
19x9.5 OZ Supertusmo LM multispoke alloys in gunmetal - same size as factory rims but 1/2 inch wider.
Other points:
It's had all DRC shocks changed previous to me and they’ve been faultless since.
In August 2011 and it went back to Audi under warranty as started to smoke a little on start up and had a full engine replacement at 62,709 miles.
I've only done 5k miles since then with a warranty on the factory engine replacement until July 2013.
Audi replaced the full clutch system & flywheel (at my cost) as the engine was out of the car which should be good for another 80k miles.
The car is in lovely condition and will be getting fully detailed before selling - all paintwork is great condition and its accident damage free.
Full Audi service history & next service is due in March which I will get done subject to selling price.
All RS4 documentation present in service wallet with all the receipts from when the car was new in a big history folder.
2 keys plus extra factory service key.
Mot until September 2013 - all MOT's present in folder with 6mths Tax remaining.
HPi clear and any inspection welcome
I have all the original factory parts inc wheels (now gunmetal), airbox, lights, exhaust and will include these in sale if good price can be agreed.
If no takers I will sell as a std form and I will sell the parts separately…so if you like the look of the mods please PM me.
RS04 reg. not included in sale and car will be put back on its 56 plate when sold....I will need it for a future car perhaps!?!
Would love it to go to a fellow enthusiast and pains me to sell it as its such a great car, but as always, we have to move forward and start developing products for other models that Audi seem to roll out each year!
