Has factory fit 6cd changer and also has cruise control and I retrofitted heated seat pads. Virtually unmarked interior with no rips. Entry door handle wood has wear but other than that this interior is almost mint!! Has non visible towbar which drops down for use. Only used it for taking light trailer to rubbish tip every now and again so hasn't been used for heavy towing!!
Owned the car since 10k miles and 1 year old. Was bought from the VW main dealer and has been looked after regardless of cost. To be fair its not caused us any trouble other than turbo failure at 120k miles which was to be expected as they do tend to go at that mileage. New hybrid has 360 deg thrust bearing so is far stronger and will probably outlast the car.
Front wings have some rust and bonnet has a small dent. I would fit new wings and get the front sprayed and this car would be near perfect.
Was full VW histrory til 60k then went indy til about 100k then I took on regular oil changes (every 10k) and its had anything it needed. Just fitted new rear discs and pads to it. This is a well sorted golf. Handles FAR better than a std golf due mainly to the s3 and H&R parts. The steering rack is the same as the r32 so is far quicker than the slow witted standard rack.
Need a decent offer for this car to prise it from our grip as its going to be a reluctant sale. Wife actually wants to just keep it but our drive isn't big enough!! Despite the mods the MPG is as good as ever. See's 60mpg on a run and even driven hard it never really goes under 45 over a tank! Brilliant blend of power, MPG and handling and it stands out but not in an over modded way as I think being black is looks subtle
With all these mods already done I think this is easily worth £3500 EDIT: to all who enquired so far sorry but cannot let it go for a penny less
