Hi there,
After a few days of looking at RS4 reviews and discovering this website I've decided I must have one..! I have a December 2009 Range Rover Sport HSE, this is the later shape model with twin turbo 3.0 diesel. It's Buckingham Blue with Ivory leather and privacy glass. The colour is very dark almost black, though a little more sophisticated IMO. Only done 13.5k miles.
I'd ideally be looking to PX for a late Avant, in black, grey or silver. Would like lowish miles, probably under 50k but most importantly a well looked after car.. Hence the reason this website is my first port of call! Not too worried about the black optics as quite fond of the silver bits, especially on a dark car. Would like the flat bottomed steering wheel, not 100% sure about the seats?! I'm 6'2" and lanky so buckets should be fine.
Anybody toying with the idea of changing theirs for a more "practical" rangey?
Oli

What sort of deal would you be looking for? Just to save a million questions off people?
It would be beneficial to get some pics up also!
I made the move from an RRS HST to an RS4 saloon, you won't be disappointed

Re: RR Sport HSE, px for RS4 Avant?
Thanks for the advice, I'm currently having a break down in Cornwall hence the time to be pouring over forums! The car if I were to sell privately should fetch circa £37k. Perfect condition, it has been polished monthly. It's currently splattered with some cornish mud due to the miserable weather so I'll post some photos at the weekend on my return. Unless anyone is desparate to see that is!
Wouldn't like to be paying more than about £23 - £24k for an Avant, i think that's realistic after the reasearch I've done.. Is it easy to check with Main dealers if a car has had DRC work?
Your advice and help is much appreciated!

Re: RR Sport HSE, px for RS4 Avant?
I'd say £35k but yes, a nice motor
For £24k you should get in to an Avant with relatively low mileage, although are you hell bent on the estate?
DRC is an easy check, just phone your local dealer and quote the VIN of the car you are looking at, I did and they were extremely helpful. I'd go for Audi Warranty if possible, but then that is another debate all together, I wouldn't have bought without.
Good luck!

Re: RR Sport HSE, px for RS4 Avant?
Yes prefer the look of the estate and very much need the boot space.. Hence the rangey. I'll take some photos this weekend and go from there.
