For Sale S4 Avant 2004 Black

For Sale is my Audi S4 2004 04 plate in black with full black leather and carbon trim

I have owned this car for about 6 months. I spent months looking for the right car, which I believe this is, but unfortunately due to buying a new house need some cash for renovations!

The car has only had one former private owner before me

Its done 47k with full VAG service history up until its last service which was done about 3 weeks ago at a local specialist where it had new rear brake pads fitted

and air conditioning re gassed, oil filters etc... so nothing need for another year.

Since I have owned it, I have had 4 brand new Conti SC3's fitted so loads of tread left, also had both auxillary radiators replaced with genuine Audi units, which are prone to leaking...

The car is in very good condition, only real mark is a scratch on the back bumper which could be touched in easily.

The leather seats are as you would expect in superb condition with no signs of wear.

Its fitted with following extras.

Electric driver and passenger seat drivers seat being memory with 4 presets

Cruise control

Front and rear parking sensors

Electric folding heated memory mirrors, which move down to look at the kerb when reversing.

Double DIN Symphony stereo system with single CD slot

Centre arm rest with under compartment

Full black leather recaro's which are mint and show no signs of wear at all.

Carbon trim inserts in dash and doors

Genuine floor mats which are in mint condition as have always had aftermarket mats over them

Ski bag in back seats

Front fog lights

Automatic lights, also fog light come on when its dark and you unlock the car and when you leave it

Headlamp washers

Auto tiptronic with paddle shift gearbox

Very low miler Chunky. Those front Recaros look in amazing condition. Shame you didn't keep the main dealer service up though Splitty! Debadged, although I'm not quite sure on the 'stealth' look to your exhaust....

Chunky, with reference to the price how many S4's with 47k on the clock have you seen for £10k?

I am open to input from you guys so if you think its too much then make me an offer....

Ian, to be honest not that impressed with main dealers all they do is check things and replace when something breaks! The badges were removed before i got it and yeah the exhausts could do with a polish!

I agree about the main dealer servicing, only used them 3 times myself but dont think i ever will again. What milage have the services been done?
My comment about the price was cause i sold mine for £9k just before xmas. yeah it had a bit less spec than yours and more miles but what is 30k to these cars?

Suppose i shouldn't have posted about the price on yours (sorry) but there have been a few on here recently around the same price mark as yours and just wondered if they really have gone up this much.

For the record, these cars are superbly stealthly and are probably packing close to some standard b7 rs4 bhp. Stick a super charger on one and i think they make more torque than an rs4?

It's a difficult one. Only two or three years ago a low miler would command several grand over a higher miler. It seems only recently that cars with 50k on the clock were going for 15k. However those days are gone, the price differential between high and low milers is reducing all the time, and 12-13k would now be top money for a B6. Ignoring history, servicing and condition for a moment, they can be very spec and colour dependent. I'm sure Chunky won't mind me saying plain silver is not the most desirable colour on an S4 (shame Audi didn't paint it Avus instead). Try breaking down your advert, add more details on the options. You mention drivers seat memory - does it have the comfort pack with electric folding mirrors? Centre arm rest. Appears to have double din Symphony. Ski bag? Interior light pack? Glovebox coolbox? How many services? If you want top money, you can never have too much detail in the ad, just as Chunky mentions. One detail that attracted me to 'mine' was the fact it had 5 AVS stamps in the book, whereas others of a similar age and mileage only had 3 or 4.

Thanks for your reply really appreciate you taking the time to help me out...

I have now added a list of extras, there was some i had forgetten about which you reminded me of !

I would say Black with the full leather and carbon trim to me is one of the best combos, I did want an Avus one but was put off by the way the blue ancantra ages, looks all black and bobbley! I like the steath look of the black as people don't suspect it...
