Very rare car for sale (not my E61 M5!!)

Post by ecain63 » Mon Feb 21, 2011 6:23 pm

The wife is thinking about selling her limited edition Alfa Romeo Brera Prodrive 3.2SV6 as she needs something more economical for her soon to be increasing work mileage. This is the car she has loved the most over the years but cant bear to put the extra miles on it doing commuter stuff.

Its an 09 plate and has only done 7000 miles, has just been resprayed by Ferrari Lyndhurst under warranty, has had a new power steering pump and is in absolutely mint condition. She doesnt get the use from it that it deserves and is struggling to justify the ownership. Its still got its warranty until late 2012 too.

As its a Prodrive rebuild of the standard Alfa Brera its got a bespoke Prodrive Exhaust, Prodrive designed Eibach / Bilstein suspension, bespoke 2WD gearbox with LSD, Prodrive 19" Magnesium wheels, full leather interior inc dash, sports seats with Limited Edition plaque in head rest, excellent Brembo brakes, 276bhp and is in the best colour of them all - RED!

They only made 50 of these in Red and of the 50 only 17 were V6's. Ive driven the car more than a few times over the past 14 months and its a real drivers car. At 7000 miles the car is only just run in and feels incredibly nimble. The ride is smooth yet sporty and the exhaust has a lovely note when under load.

Prodrive hit the nail on the head with this one and my wifes example is a perfect, showroom condition model. I know some of you are looking for a car for the summer and i think this is a great buy.

This is the also the lowest mileage model available at the moment too so its priced at £21k to sell.
