New TT
Re: New TT
Ok then,any excuse
Re: New TT
That F Type is lovely, big fan. However, an entry level F Type is £50k+, the TT starts at under £30k. Different class of car. The Z4, SLK, Boxster are the TT's rivals.

Re: New TT
I agree they are a slightly different market but the TTS is going to be £45k with a few toys, the F-Type starts at £50k but comes with decent kit including nav and a 3.0 V6 compared to the TTS 2.0 4 pot.
Re: New TT
Love your F type lofty. Brilliant spec.
Well done
And yes a TTS is not far off a F TYPE money. 300PS vs 340PS

Jag looks ok
Mostly driven by ageing men or women, there's just something about it I don't get, what is it?

Re: New TT
It's a £60k+ car! Most people who can afford it are 40+
A TT is a PCP Golf, £5k £299....anyone can afford that
How many young people do you see driving brand new 911/R8 etc

Re: New TT
Don't see many blue rinse in R8. Blue rinse seem to dig on Jag and Aston.

I am surprised at your comment HYFR, thought you were one of the sensible ones on here.....HYFR wrote:the biggest problem the TT has is the profile of the people that buy them
but, tossers who know nothing about cars buy them so they can say they drive an "Audi"
Re: New TT
I say it in jest
Tossers was a bit harsh, fair enough
but reality is that many people will buy it, because its a TT. they buy into the brand image ... not the car

You can be sensible and still call a spade a spade.
No matter where you go, there you are.
Re: New TT
Those F types do look good i must say.
My old man has recently bought a cayman s and to be honest its one of the most fun cars ive ever driven, also with the sports exhaust it does sound naughty.
