Hi,

I ordered one for my girlfriend, basically TTRS cabrio phantom black - Expected to arrive end of september, beginning of october.

I had a nice discount of 11% (special discount for company) but before it was also possible to have a discount around 8% without any problems.

will keep you updated.

I have seen one in the flesh and it does look nice, if not alittle pretty... its still a girlie car whatever is under the bonnet.

I might try and get a test drive, but it would only to see what its like, looks alone, and the image put me off

I quite like the look of them, but I just can't get my head around the price and lack of standard options. If I spec one up on the Audi configurator, with similar kit to that on my RS4 (19" wheels, sat-nav/tv, bucket seats, magnetic ride in lieu of DRC, etc) it comes out to nearly the same cost - £52,275 as opposed to the £53.5k I paid for mine (new).

It does have a certain appeal. A 2.5L turbo 5 cylinder = nice. A simple remap would turn that car into an animal! Light and short should make it a fun car to drive! I'm curious so I'm planning a test drive. But I can't see me ever buying a new one.

A. I don't have that "got to have one feeling" Well......yet anyway!
B. Its too expensive
B. At this stage I can't see how I'd get on with my bikes and gear. Although I guess this is possible.

TTRS £52k +? 911 S with under 10 on the clock £52k ? Nissan GTR £55k?
M3 £54k?

I am just not sure how the TTRS really stacks up against that lot.

good write up, not quite the car for me even though I don't need the space of the RS4 anymore. But i would still prefer a 3 door RS3 with the same power -for the same reason I bought an S3 over a 225 TT

I had a test drive of the TTRS last week here in Cardiff Audui, and what can i say????
It was an awesome peice of machinery, hefty price tag... but all in all had nothing bad to say about it....
Would i modify it?? Hell no!! it's perfect in every way.... exhaust, gear shift handling - all Brilliant!!
One of the best cars i have driven for a long time.... The RS4 is a better allrounder, practical etc... but the TTRS is a great Weapon!

OK,It os look ok but definitely a girls/hairdressers/interior designers car. She was told she was gettng the first one in the UK (typical) and coincidentally it was the spec she was after other than parking sensors which she has now added. When it turned up it had completely the wrong colour interior (silver, not black). She got a nice discount for that I believe....

Did I mention the spoiler??

Me and Jim (rAudiguy) have been for a play in one today and I think the agreement was that the 2.5L lump is pretty impressive in it's power delivery and has great tuning potential but it's just not good enough to wear the RS badge in our opinions!

The interior was neat BUT the stitched in TT logs on the door inserts were so hairdresser it was unreal.
