Creaking NSF

Pretty random comment, just noticed over the last week the NSF creaks very noticeably on right or left lock, I notice it more in the morning as I swing out of my drive which has a peak on the monoblock..
I'm thinking control arm, ball joint.. anyone experienced anything similar.. Cars booked in 20th for O and F, discs and pads so I'll get them to check over, just wondered what it's more likely to be. Coincidentally this is the same corner the front shock was replaced in the spring..

Not got any knocking / noises on mine but my upper control bushes are split...and kind of expecting that sort of noise to emerge before i get them sorted. Hopefully get it diagnosed and sorted while its in.
You sorted out plugs for it yet? NGKs would be my go to!

No knocking, Vish, just this creaking noise. It's starting to do my head in. I had also suspected an arm might be on the road out.. definitely suspension related. I'll buy a set of NGK. Apparently, fake plugs are a thing, so I'll figure out who to buy from. Did you run the brief (no pun) into the under sealers ?..

Yeah booked in for the 1st Dec! Hopefully sort the arms the weekend before. Looking forward to getting it all done given we're in grit season now

mine creaks like a bugger on uneaven surfaces. Its the anti roll arm bushes. Replaced them and it still does it. right pain.

I only recently got my RS4 back in August. It had a similar sounding creak that got progressively worse the longer you got in to a journey.
I had the front, lower rear suspension arms replaced. Think they are sometimes referred to as banana arms?
That has solved the problem for me, hopefully that helps!

Did you get to the bottom of this Stu?
I used to get a similar thing on a Subaru, - I was told it was a common thing with big tyres and 4WD, something to do with the different turn radii when at full lock. Made worse/more noticeable with worn tyres apparently, which in the Scoobies case turned out to be right and some new tyres fixed it.
