Service.. which plugs ?

My car is due an oil service, sitting at 48k and considering throwing a set of plugs in.
Has anyone a particular choice of plug they use? Normally, I stick with OE for consumables but have already deviated buying K and Ns as they were less expensive than OE.
I'll do the plugs myself at xmas as Im off for two weeks, Ill also pop out the filters and give them a clean and oil.
