I noticed the crazing around the edges of the light before seeing the impact in the clear section. Odd how the damage comes out at the edges.

Not sure how I managed to get stone chip damage at the rear ...

How odd, was it smacked with a trolley?

That's a good thought, it's about the right height. Got a replacement from eBay on its way, it's easy enough to change.
