Failed mot..

Post by Smudge1997 » Fri Feb 03, 2023 10:05 pm

Hey there!

New to this forum so hello! I’ve had my 2012 rs4 for the last 3 years and recently it’s failed it’s MOT! And I’ve been given a quote for the repairs at £8500! Been told by many garages that only Audi can change the shocks for the recharge. Just wondering what sort of things need to be changed, I will put the mot report below! And if there is another way of getting shocks done ect.

Thanks

James!

Most of these categories are typical MOT failures. Unfortunately, there's nought cheap on these and you have quite a few areas that have reared their heads at the same time.

What sort of servicing history does the car have, did you not notice the wear on the tyres or brakes degrading pre-inspection, must be some considerable pulsing thru the pedal for the station to list a comment like that.

Whatever way looks like a suspension and brake overhaul is long overdue along with some new hoops fitted..
