Extended Warranty Renewal

Has anyone else had a renewal quote through recently for their extended warranty?

Paid ~£540 for named component cover last year and this year it has gone to over £700.

Reminder email states that provider will change from Volkswagen Versicherung AG to AWP P&C SA, I haven’t queried this yet but wondered if it is due to the age of the vehicle (63 plate) or if all policies are switching to this new provider.

Like many others, main reason for the cover is the peace of mind it gives for any potential gearbox issues

Think I was £709 for all component
Car is a 14 plate

Worth it for me personally, I’ve had a few small issues recently & glad I had the warranty

Yes, my all component cover went from £680 (for each of the previous three years), to £877 with the same switch of provider. Mine is a 62 plate, so it did cross my mind that it had reached 10 years. I had had a rear diff leak issue fixed under warranty this year (£250 excess rather than £870 full price) and have had replacement front shocks done in the past, so don't really have too much problem with it.
