Jealous mate.... Not with your bikes, but the roads you mention and have access to! Will be up there after easter next year, but always with the family and dogsstuartbarriskell wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 8:19 pmSounds good, I've been riding (legally) for over 44 years now, and I just can't see myself without one. My mates all have bikes, all in our 50s and none of us are slow riders by any stretch, quite the contrary.
The roads up here are perfectly suited for big bikes, a 7am start on a summer morning gets a clear run on the A82 all the way up to Inverness, Campbeltown, Mallaig or wherever we're headed. We get all our fun somewhere in the 80 to 130mph region, always with a margin factored in.

Haha... I'll take your word for it, we never look at it
We normally stay near Oban. Had many a family holiday up there when I was a wee'un, being thrown around in the back of my Dad's XR3i. My boys love the tranquillity of a swim in Glen Etive, although it's a bit busier along there these days.stuartbarriskell wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 2:27 pmSounds good mate, where are you headed too ?
