They're pretty good! Mark did my old 180SX a few years back - and was supposed to get the mr2 down to them last year, but ended up postponing it.

Just one thing I was wondering...I had my b8 up on a ramp a few months ago and noticed a small gap running between the side undertrays and the sills on each side...with some stones trapped in. took those trays off to get rid of the stones/clean things up and noticed some surface rust on the sills. To properly get to the other side, its prob a sideskirts off job. Did you notice anything on yours around there - and did they remove the skirts or leave them on? I had some leftover bilt hamber dynax kicking about - which I sprayed up there mainly to make me feel better...hopefully nothing serious but might well need to get mine down to them to do it properly.

Hi mate, just replied to your what dealer question.

No I never noticed anything, mind you I wasn't looking, Marks a good lad unfortunately I had a bit of a burst up with his Mrs lol.. shes the one that sends the pics via whatsapp.

There's a couple of posts on here somewhere about rust under those skirts, might be an idea to whip then off at some point..

What's the score with popping them off, fairly straightforward?

Cheers for that! Yeah hopefully not too much hassle but will leave it till it's next on a ramp (and will have a dig around for those threads). I did wonder if it was worth mentioning when it's in at Audi but they'll no doubt have a way of getting out of doing anything.

Will be good to see how yours looks once it's done!

His Mrs stopped sending images after my impromptu visit and subsequent ding dong which was brought on entirely by her unnecessary retort to a basic question.

Mark said some pics would be taken of the lance going in and out of the channels, however as per above, if they took any I never received them and can't be arsed asking now tbh.. the episode left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.

Not sure there are any more than I have already posted..

Pictures look really good! Shame about that chat though...it's hardly much of an ask to get some extra pictures. Hopefully be sorted for the winter weather. May well see you around too once its back on the road. Was in Dumbarton earlier and up every odd weekend - we've got one of the units in the skatepark! not sure if you know anyone around there? Just live down the road too in Clydebank.

Christ.. small world man.... I know a lot of the guys in the units, Chic Mailey, Hugh Smith from Dumbarton Car Clinic and Joe Kemp.. I've known Chic forever.

I live just along the road from Unit 23, I own SB Property Estate Agency on Glasgow Road.

What's your business name ?.. might even have seen you..or your car

Ah nice - small world for sure and will keep an eye out for a blue RS! I'm sure Chic is who we pay the rent to! it's not a business or anything - just a bunch of us car guys who use it for somewhere to store or work on motors or wash the cars. It's a good community out there - really decent guys.

Yea, Chic collects all the rents for the Iranian owner, who by the way has spent zero on the place and never will, heard he's just ramped up all the rents, nothing unusual there, loads of my residential landlords jumped on the bandwagon before the rent freeze kicked in.

All the lads down there are spot on for sure.. so when I bump into you do I call you Vish ?

Final job looks very good Stu, I'd be pleased with that.
It's a shame they're not local to me otherwise I'd give them a go.

Yeah we've had to build an internal roof - given that the actual roof is very leaky - and absolutely no sign of anything being done to fix it. But for the money, even with the increase, it's good value and a good place to fire the old Mr2 for the winter. And yes it's Vish!

Yea mate, he hasn't ever spent a penny on the place since he bought it.

He'll eventually punt the land to developers who will bulldoze the units..nothing surer..
