Violent judder!!

Post by Rs4nutter » Sat Aug 27, 2022 2:38 am

Morning all

Used car for first time in a while, started juddering on way to work. It was like it was about to cut out, and had a hesitation at one point and did nothing, few seconds later then decided to go.

Started the car next morning to an erratic idle, between 1000 - 2500rpm before settling down, while this was happening I had the max rpm warning light come on, then the EPC light on!!

Just managed to get it home but it got worse, at one point it juddered that bad I nearly head butted the steering wheel!!

Have had it looked at by CM Tuning but couldn’t get the car to do this, but did reset the gearbox adaptions, worked for a while, but now it’s back!!

Any ideas would be grateful
Thanks

Hi TheBigFish

Took to a garage up road near me, non Audi/speacialist and they plug computer in and it had a fault light on dash, was put down to a fuel pressure sensor on bank A.

Changed that and so far not had the same problem back 🤞

Hope that helped?

Great thanks for the reply!

I always find with cars that a lot problems seem to be common faults. I had this high rpm warning too so will change the low presssure sensor too :-)

Cheers,

Ben
