Hey

Taking delivery of a final year B8 RS4 this week 73k Km, Daytona with Black pack, Titanium five spokes, Black nappa sports seats, Fully loaded with the B&O etc … cannot wait !

I’m not planning on any changes to mechanics but a few to audio - Apple CarPlay a certainty and possibly some speakers (all work fine but always room for improvement) especially was planning to do the sub as a first step.

I got this idea when I was investigating RS5s before choosing the Avant and I did think the 4 sounded a bit weak when checking the audio.

Question is - where is the sub ? Is there actually a sub. I’ve found a wide variety of responses when googling and totally confused - not found any definitive details. For clarity I want to do a straight speaker swap, not any box install etc.

Hope you enjoy the car. My sub is in the boot where the spare wheel would be by the battery.

How are you getting on with your newly purchased RS4?

It’s awesome thanks ! Installed the Apple CarPlay which is such a good move

Think I want to change the alloys for some OEM v spokes from the turbine style I’m running

Also toying with the idea of an armytrix or milltek exhaust … I had planned on keeping it stock, the idea of freeing up a few ponies is nice but the sound of some of those aftermarket’s is epic !

I had a Shop install it - tried a few places but seemed to be a constant issue with finding the right compatibility - believe it’s a Limcet system. Has worked like a dream and a great upgrade !
