Ha! Motorway miles with lots of average speed roadworks (good for one thing I suppose?), plus a baby in the back and an observant wife in the passenger seat!

I also like to think it was the Tesco 99

A bit off topic, but I've been pleasantly surprised at my consumption, even on a couple of trips to Berlin when I was 110+ most of the time and sometimes 130+ I averaged 24-25mpg. I had a 3l Subaru before this car and my all time average was 19.

I can see the value of the Apple upgrade and everyone's experience is an interesting read, I'll admit that my default position, at the moment anyway, is 'keep everything the way Audi intended'.

I see 32mpg on a run with the cruise set at 66. (I've only ever set the cruise at 66 when England are playing in tournaments ).

I'm in two minds re Apply carplay. Had it retrofitted in my previous car (remapped 335d xDrive) and it wasn't much of an upgrade over the standard set up tbh which was streets ahead of the MMI in the RS. The feature I miss the most is being able to programme the satnav from my phone and Carplay won't offer that.

That said, if I had a local Indie offering it then I might be tempted, but there's no-one local to me (Berks) that I can see offering it.
