Noticed a small drip of coolant near the passenger side front wheel.
Car won’t be moving until it goes to a garage for investigation but wanted to know how much coolant is on the whole system in case it loses a lot and I need to top up
How much coolant in total in the system?
Re: How much coolant in total in the system?
Why don't you just buy the correct pink antifreeze for your car (buy decent quality antifreeze, or genuine Audi, bearing in mind not all antifreeze is the same quality) then dilute some to the correct strength (50%?) in a separate container, so you have it at hand if needed. If the cooling system is suddenly losing a lot of coolant, I wouldn't consider driving it very far anyway until the reason is fixed. Soft water is ok in the mix, but if you are in a hard water area, then I would use use distilled water to dilute it.

I have bought 5 litres of the right red coolant. Just want to be sure that’s enough if it keeps leaking over the weekend

At a 50% mixture, you will have 9 or 10 litres (depending on container quantity), which should be more than enough for topping up, even with a 'small' coolant loss. From memory, I think 9 litres diluted is required for a coolant change.
