Hi
Reading through getting some info on what to look out for before making a purchase. Does the below look legit? Should I avoid ebay/private sales?
Thanks

Re: Looking to buy
I would suggest the inverse - talking to the actual owner gives you a much better insight into the vehicle than any dealer could.
"not a professional engineer, mechanic and mechanist"
Re: Looking to buy
I would argue that being recorded on the Vcar Register effectively kills its market value over and above one that has no markers.Fluke84 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 1:56 amHi

Recent new discs all round, yet it is booked in for new pads......? ?
I have nothing against buying from private sellers, but if you are concerned about component failure, when you buy an Audi Approved used, you get your 12 month used car warranty. This is underwritten by the same company that provide the Audi extended manufacturers warranties, which you will then get the option to extend after the 12 month period at sensible money, whereas if you were to to take it out on a RS4 purchased in a private sale, as there is no continuaty, the premium will effectively double.
