When you use the paddles the gearbox goes into manual mode, is there a way to switch it back to auto via the paddles? (You can do this on some non RS4 cars I've used by pulling the up shift paddle for a second or 2). I know the car will automatically go back to auto or sport mode if you don't use the paddles for a while but I just wondered if there was a shortcut?

yh I missed this when I came from from A45.You just held both paddles for 3 seconds. But yh, the gear lever is the way as said above.
Re: Switching from manual back to auto
Thanks both. I do use the gear shifter but was hoping there might be a way to do it via the paddles I wasn't aware of.
