Memory Seats

Hi all, not expecting anyone to know this but worth a try.
I have a RS4 bit leggy but love it so want trade it up for another low mile car.
I have a freshly retrimmed Audi Exclusive interior with buckets which I want to take to the new car, interior swap time consuming but easy done!
BUT quite a few cars I am looking at have Memory seats in the Front, my question is if I swap the seats and door cards over is this just coding the Memory function over to my old car or will it need further hardware on top of the seats and door cards with switches?
worst case if it can't be done I will need a new door panel without the switches but if it can be done I will.
