B8 RS4 - Brake disc, pads and hoses - Available parts listed in this thread

My RS4 is now on 60k miles and is due its 2nd pad change and first disc change in its life. I've scoured the internet over recent days and tabulated all options that I could find and have listed them, with part number, price and hyperlinked source on the attached PDF (Front discs on Page 1, Rear discs on Page 2, Pads and hoses on Page 3).

If there are any errors please let me know, if I've missed a product then please provide a link and if there is more cost-effective source for any product then let me know and I'll update accordingly.

Cheers for the effort pal, very useful.. I’m swaying to Zimmerman on mine, as I get an annoying squeak on low speed braking.. doing my nut in Image

I think I’m going for the 380mm Reyland front floating discs and the 360mm Reyland bolted 2 piece rears, Ferodo DS2500 pads and the HEL brake lines.

I spend some time each year heavily loaded on the Autobahn so want to make sure I go top-notch. Because the car is “a keeper” the Reyland discs will allow me to only replace the rings next time.

My KW V3’s should arrive in the next week or so, it’s an expensive time

Just had a look at those Reylands, yeah like the option to just change the rings.... got me thinking now...

Yeah sounds like a bit of expensive time for you, the setup will be worth it

I have a brand new set of Reyland floating discs available due to a change of plans. They are big brake kit with 385mm front and 356mm rear. Please DM me if you’re interested.

It was on my car they did the development of the disc kit you’re considering.

I’d just like to say a quick thank you to Fivetones who arranged the sale and hand-over of the Reyland discs and HEL brake lines to me last weekend.

I ordered the Ferodo DS2500 pads from Reyland and have to say the speed of their email response and order dispatch was amazing.

I’m looking forward to Monday when the brakes are installed along with my KW V3’s.

Sounds like the plans I may have, are you replacing any other suspension components, bushes, transmission mounts etc?

I’m replacing the front and rear top mounts, at present all bushes are in good condition and I’ll replace as advised by my mechanic.

Did you end up going for the Zimmermann discs?
Does anyone else have experience of using these discs that can comment?

Mine will only be for road use so they do not need to cope with the stress of track work.

Ok cheers, I’m tempted to get a set as AUTODOC have a sale on brake discs and they have zimmermann discs at £385 for the pair.

Don’t need them just yet but that’s the cheapest I’ve seen them.
