New B8 RS4 Owner - recommended garages

Morning all,

I've been a B7 RS4 owner 3 times over, and have recently started a search for a B8. Upshot is im a new owner of a lovely 2012 RS4 B8.

Are there any recommended Audi specialists in the Yorkshire region, Halifax/Huddersfield/Bradford/Leeds.

Hi mate, I’ve just embarked on my Audi specialist journey. I haven’t had my car into any of them yet. But Unit 20 and a guy called CJ on here have proved very knowledgeable and helpful. Mines going into Unit 20 in a couple of weeks. They’re in Chester but supply a Courtesy car while the work is being carried out “as part of the service” which is very useful. Prices seem very reasonable and they specialise in these cars. Hope this helps.

Hi Folks,
This is very useful to know.
I’m moving to Yorkshire from northern Highland and I’ll need to find a good contact for looking after my B8 too.
Part of the reason for moving is to be nearer to a wider choice of dealers/specialists. Good luck with Unit 20, I will be checking them out too.
I will be located in the East Riding, near to Driffield/Beverley. Perhaps someone out there might know someone trustworthy a little nearer to this area... if so, please post.

Unit 20 are fantastic. End of. Couldn’t be more pleased.

Once I’ve my my Warrenty work completed at Audi, I will never be visiting an Audi dealership again.

I use Unit 20. Great set up.

I use Chris in Morley, Leeds, CM Tuning for the servicing, but he can't do the DRC issues, doesn't have the set up

i'm in that area and am in same boat - looking for a garage as only had car since March 2020 and is about to hit 40k

I asked on a forum (can't remember which one!) for recommendations and got;

Autohaus Dolby in Sheffield
Chris Umpleby in Bradford
Halifax Auto Tech

Autohaus is a bit far (tho would go if nothing decent closer). Chris Umpleby seemed to get mixed reviews when i researched. Hence i'm going to try the last one - its very local to me plus i need that as my bloody emissions light has come on this weekend
I phoned then up about my 40k service and he checked the Audi system there and then to tell me that the pano roof (which is down as a 40k check) had been done before i got it, so wouldn't need doing, so appreciated that. Sounded nice guy so thats my destination this week hopefully (about to phone)

btw Unit 20 are very well regarded but just to far for me (but if i decide to carbon clean or modify then I'll be going that way:) )

edit - phoned and cant get in until next Tues ....good sign i guess if busy!
