After a really enjoyable 3 weeks of RS4 ownership, yesterday the passenger side rear shock starting knocking loudly, sounds like i had a piece of wood in the boot. Drove it that day and then when I got it home I noticed oil all down the right hand side of the car and inside the wheel and arch liner so presuming that one has let go too. I'd read they are linked diagonally so this is my theory but I'm no mechanic.
Audi tech coming today and then hopefully it will recovered to dealership. I bought the car with approved used warranty for 2 years so I'm really hoping this is all covered
Anyone had experience of DRC failure within approved used warranty please do put my mind at rest!

If you have that much oil escaping from the DRC it’s likely to be a hose that connects to the shocker has let go.

Sadly, this is not a surprise as dealerships aren't checking these cars correctly. My front O/S has failed twice within the first 6 weeks. I'm currently going through a rejection due to a host of problems.

Well the good news it was indeed one of the oil feed pipes that had failed so much less serious than i first thought. All repaired and paid for by the dealership i bought it from. Now feels great and so glad to be back in it after a week of a Volkswagen Arteon!
