Help needed!

Post by RSrichmond » Thu Oct 24, 2019 2:54 pm

So my rs4 b8 has been in the garage over the last year (house move and other things) any way put it in for MOT and service now back on the road! But noticing car feels skittish on the road, feels like I am having to correct the steering constantly. No confidence in the handling at all. So have checked tyres MPSS 6mm tread - correct pressure. Back to garage and DRC checked no issues and correct pressure! I put a new battery on when I took in out the garage as the old one was done! Any help much appreciate!

I'm no expert but a couple of thoughts:

Could it be wheel alignment?
Alternately leaving the car stationary for a year might have flat spotted the tyres.

Wheel alignment is good! Possibly fat spots, although the car was moved every 3 to 6 weeks.

So turned out it was worn bushings at the front. Replaced now feels like new! Thank you 🙏🏼
