Noggy Newbie
Noggy Newbie
Firstly thank you for all the helpful Buyers Guide info and service guides on the Forum. This made my life much easier when researching prospects.
Although I set out to get a RS6 C6 I’ve ended up with a 64 plate Nogaro Edition.
Having seen what would seem as dozens of cars - found an exceptional but expensive (!) low mileage, 18.4k, 2 private owner car.

Re: Noggy Newbie
Thanks Gents,
TBH - I did not set out to get a Nogaro but the colour grows on you!
It was up for very strong money but the condition was "mint"; DRC - shocks etc by Audi + P-Zeros tyres with 7-6mm.
New front wheels as previous owner did not like the fact they had some marks. I was told he kept it under a blanket so this explains how, at 4-years old, it had very little wear and tear to the interior/ exterior. The car is really like new - with not a single dink to any panel.
Re: Plans? I want to go for parking camera, power-fold mirrors, and the (gasp...) heated seats - which I know will be an eye watering retro-fit.
Wife has friends near Inverness so this is the first big trip one we collect the Noggy on Sunday.
p.s. Would not have made such an informed purchase if it was not for all the FAQs and helpful articles on this Forum.

Nice one! If your location matches your user name, local-ish monthly meet in Milton Keynes + Buckingham (which town depends on the month - see the Trackdays and Meets section). One of our regular attendees lives half way between Banbury and Daventry in the countryside

Thanks for the warm welcome Gents. Deffo up for a meet up. We moved down the road from Banbury but MK and Buckingham an easy drive. Look forward to it.

Have to agree with this. Perfect little things add up to big visual appeal.Sammyb349 wrote:Welcome. I love the blue, red, silver combo. Great choice!

Great colour.
So what made you pick the Noggy over a C7 RS6?

Re: Noggy Newbie
Brilliant, pop your name down if you can make it, we shall keep an eye out for a Nogaro (and I can make sure I add enough seats to the table!)

Simple answer is I could not find the right car. It’s like searching for the Unicorn. I wanted a low mileage RS6 C6 Avant. There is one at Parkway but I had some insider knowledge on its history and declined.
So ... looked at B8s. My car mad friend always wanted a Noggy. Took a look and was hooked.
I paid way over book for it as I wanted a mint car. Found an unmolested car that was pampered by its 2 private owners.
Collect it next Sunday and still smiling

You'll love it. No shame in paying bit more for a mint car your really want.

I live in Banbury. I have a red B8 RS4. Happy to convoy over when the next meets are on.
