Morning all, came back to car the other day to find this. Obviously the culprit didn’t leave details, some people have no shame. Been to Audi and 3.8k to fix, ouch. 700 quid just for the front grill!
Anyone know if bumper can be saved???

Arghhh. This makes me furious. So sorry for you dude.
If it were me I'd pop to my local trusted body
Shop and ask their thoughts. Audi price seems... Toppy!
Why are people to inconsiderate?

Yeah, contacted the police and reported it, they came back and said they couldn’t see anything.
My mrs also said get some dashcams, might do that if anyone has a recommendation??

I guess it'll be labour to strip, new bumper and grille, paint, refit and then the calibration of the ACC etc due to the new bumper.

The arsehole who did it probably thought it was a little dent and who cares.
I feel your pain, I really hate this situation
I had this problem too, but not as bad, but just as infuriating, I found out who did it and lost my job over it.

Yeah parts are about 1.6k.then paint including blending the paint onto wings. Lot of calibration of ACC, headlights, etc etc. Tbh it will be through Insurance so not too bothered about cost.
Looking at the damage it’s kinda weird, low down compared to most car bumpers and looks like it was sliced through.

If there was ever a case for it, this is it. Utterly speechless. Zero moral fibre.

I have a Thinkaware F800 and had it professionally fitted so no cables or mess. Decided to get it after my sister was involved in an accident when someone drove into her whilst stationary and the culprit denied wrong doing and the insurance asked if she had a dash cam to prove otherwise. Look them up as they are recording whilst parked.

Ouch, cretins!!!
Yes, I was also shocked at the grill price when I enquired about buying one. I wanted to get a black optics version and swap the hexagonal mesh over, so it then matched the lower side ones. After picking my jaw up from the floor, I eventually found a genuine one on eBay a few months later, at a far more sensible price.
