Lowering and Spacers OEM wheels

Post by Oli » Fri Nov 30, 2018 11:57 am

hello all

A good friend has just purchased a B8 RS4, with the 20" rotors. Its has DRC. He wants to lower and space the wheels. We've found that H&R do a specific spring and its looks like 10mm, is a good size spacer.

Any feedback or help on this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

don't know anything about the lowering but ive had 10mm H&R Hub centric spacers front and back for quite a few years now on standard ride height and 20" rotors with no issues and no chips underneath of the rear door handle etc as some have complained about with 10mm spacing

I have the H&R 10mm hub centric all round too. 9x20 Rotors with 265/30 Bridgestones. No catching. (see @fivetones on IG for a pic, I run relatively low and the car can be driven fully).

The lowering is via the KW HAS spring kit which is adjustable. If you're happy with DRC this, to me, if the best route to go.

Any photos of this? Thinking about doing the same - stock height/10mm wheel spacers Thanks!

Hi - Maybe a silly question, but what do you do about locking wheel nuts when using extended nuts with spacers please? Buy longer i suppose - if they exist??
Where's a good place to buy the H&R 10mm please?

Thanks
