20” wheels vs 19”
20” wheels vs 19”
Every time I get a car with low profile rubber I always speculate whether it’s worth downgrading in wheel size to improve the suppleness of the chassis. Is there much improvement in ride quality between 19s and 20s? Thankyou
Re: 20” wheels vs 19”
I would presume that the ride will be a little more forgiving with 19's, but most on here I think will have the 20" rims, as the 19's look sh*te, and in my opinion don't suit the car at all.
I tend to use my RS4 in comfort or auto / individual mode depending on the roads, and I have no issue with the ride quality. I rarely use it in dynamic, as the ride can be a little harsh, but mainly because I don't want to look like a t**t with the ridiculous exhaust blips on the down changes. Many like them, but personally, I don't.

In a word yes. Just fitted 19s with winter rubber and a noticable improvement in ride
Wheels would look better if spacers were fitted. 19s on my car are narrower and more inset (maybe for winter chains)
