Oxygen sensor

After diagnostics on my 2013 B8 RS4 it showed a fault on the oxygen sensor. My garage ordered the part from the chassis number but when it arrives it wasn't at all the same as the current one. It was longer and the connection pins were different. We checked the new part with Audi who said it was correct and the checked the serial number on the existing part which showed that it was for an s5. How can tjere be s5 parts on an rs4?
Tje attach3d pocture shows 2 leads, the short one with red connector is the one currently on the car and the long black one is the part given by Audi when using chassis number.
