I suggest all owner take a VERY close look at the lips on their wings.
You’ll likely find the very early stages of wing corrosion appearing UNDER the paint. Look for anything that is not a smooth finish and little bumps under the paint.
I’ve seen 3 now all with the same very early signs that the paint has failed on the edge of the lip.
Audi WILL replace the wings under warranty.

Re: RS4 Front Wing Corrosion
They've had this problem since the Audi 80 .Al least they are willing to replace under warranty. Probably be a different story if some owners have had them blown in for stone chips etc .
Re: RS4 Front Wing Corrosion
At the risk of sounding stupid ....can you clarify which area you describe as 'lips' ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: RS4 Front Wing Corrosion
Did Audi mention what type of defect this was?
On the B7's it was put down to Zinc Inclusion and not covered by the 12 year anti-corrosion warranty, although some goodwill payment was always offered towards cost of repair.

Re: RS4 Front Wing Corrosion
Took my B7 to Audi yesterday. Everybody was very pleasant and I ended up buying a manager special coolbox for £70 whilst waiting. A report is being sent off but doubtful Audi will honour, as it's on the lip only and prob due to stone damage behind the lip. Nothing lost apart from a bit of fuel
