Privacy glass: anyone fancy swapping?

I’ve just picked up my B8. It came with the privacy glass option from factory. I know opinion is divided on this but I’m one of those more inclined to prefer the non-privacy standard green tint.

Is anyone seeking privacy glass for theirs and fancy doing a swap?

Obviously, practically it would be best to arrange to meet in a body Shop or glass fitters and make sure we had spare seals and trims etc. (These are usually not that expensive from TPS in my experience - I’ve had glass changed in quite a few of my cars).

I’m based in the north west if that helps.

Mine had non privacy from factory but was aftermarket tinted, best thing I ever did was rip the tints out. To my own eye it looks much nicer for it.

I loath tints rear of the B-pillar. Looks <beep>, what's more, on an avant it looks like a hearse, utter poo. Nice clear airy interior viewed from the outside, that's what you want.

I wear polarised glasses and a blacklight to help see more while dogging.

Upgraded LED interior lighting against the black. That’s what you need. Where’s your showmanship?

Having chinky eyes makes seeing in the dark more difficult whilst dogging. I use match sticks to wedge my eyes open wider.

Not what we heard. The toilet wall says you use the Cum Ofsum Yun Gai to keep your eyes open.

No mate. Creme de la sum yun gai is a moisturiser product for the anal area more suited for the Aussies.
