Secondary Cat delete?

Firstly high it’s been a while, last time I was on here I had an S4 B6 many years ago.
I’ve just got a 2014 RS4 with sports exhaust and all trimmings! I’ve come from a C63 which sounded awesome, rather than replacing the exhaust a good trick was to cut out the secondary cat which made the car sound amazing. A lot of the mercs have this mod and I never had an issue with the MOT in the 3 years I had it.
Has anyone done this with the RS4? I would rather not buy a whole new exhaust, Miltek do a number of bypass pipes but nothing for RS4? I’ve even found them for the RS6! So wondered if there was a reason you couldn’t do it on the 4??
Will get some pics when I get a chance...

There are no pre cats on the B8 RS4 it's :
Cats - Front resonators - centre resonator - backboxes

Sounds like it’s what I’m looking for. So does this cut out the resonators in the middle? And droning?
C63 used to really sound amazing, one thing I miss. Went for a quick blast in the RS tonight and it handles so much better than the c63, just need to sort out the noise!

Let me know how you get on. I'm currently looking for a bit more noise over the factory sports system.....

I’m after more noise from mine (has the factory Sports exhaust) but I’ve been talking to BCS about a rear box setup that’s specifically tuned. I’m keen to keep things feeling factory and not ruin any refinement.
The exhaust is being specifically developed for the car so will report back.

Make sure you retain a valved system for that factory refinement.

I have an RS6 and cut out the front and centre resonators for little cost and makes my exhaust sound almost perfect now. Not on the levels with a C63 but still sounds good and an exhaust you can live with without it getting drony or unbearable. I would like to to sound like it does on cold start all the time though. I have my valves disconnected for maximum sound but this is easy to try and put back if you don't like it (with zero costs).

The C63 is definitely the benchmark everyone judges what a modern V8 should sound like (most performance exhaust fabricators will talk in these terms, for example).
