Wheels

Post by Sammyb349 » Fri Jun 01, 2018 7:35 pm

I am a total noob when it comes to wheels. So need your help folks. Looking at a couple of second wheel options to put new summer tyres on (my current tyres are beginning to crack albeit with 5mm+ left and I was going to put winter tyres on them once they are refurbed)

I know the rim size on the B8 is 9Jx20 ET26 5x112 and runs on 265/30/20 tyres.

I do want to push the wheels out so looking to decrease the offset with some 10mm spacers

Question is, would 9Jx20 ET33 5x112 fit if I put 10mm or 15mm spacers on? Am I correct that they will and would leave me with an offset of ET18-23 depending on whether I put 15 or 10mm spacers on

a useful site to see how much the offset affects the car and what size spacer you will need

The offset is only a guide. Try before you buy if you can, you will also need a set of centre spigots, see my signature for info.
