newbie needs advice on ipod connection

Hi

Need advice please, have a 2015 RS4, have connected my ipod to the car via the glovebox and all is fine except that the screen in the car does not display the album cover artwork.
Read in the handbook that the ipod can only display covers and play videos if it is connected via an ipod adapter cable plus (red markings)

So researched that an found exactly what was recommened part no 4FO 051 510 AJ, ordered it, arrived today - plugged it in an get a message saying ipod not supported !!!!

If anyone can help that would be great. Sorry to bore you you all.

Did you get any artwork first time? Most doesn’t show by default but there is a fix

Secondly I used an iPod but swapped to a 128gb memory card in the dash. Cheap as chips these days

Ooops. Update. Dash slot only supports 32Gb from memory (I tried a bigger card) so used a USB stick in the dash with a USB to Audi interface cable

Prior to this I had found if i had gone into Edit->Get Info and then selected the Artwork tab, dragging artwork out and back in was enough make the artwork visible when I exported the album

I believe this script does exactly the same. An easy fix and I have all my artwork in the car
