Audi refused to even look at it today, once they realised it had kw's fitted and an after market sub woofer installed in the boot.

I don't see what your problem with Audi is?

You have a knocking suspension noise from your aftermarket suspension. Talk to the garage that fitted them or KW, don't try wasting Audis time with it.

I dont know for sure its the suspension, all i know is its coming from the back of the car. Booked it in at the place that originally fitted the kw's for the previous owner. They know the car and are held in high regard for performance suspension work. I also found another source of noise the other day, the privacy screen in the boot, now removed.

its a bit quieter again however now I am noticing the cover around the sat nav squeak.

Hopefully Heasmans can fix the knocking in the back and myself along with audi can deal with the rest. To be completely fair to audi, they did wash my car for me while it was there which was nice of them as it was filthy after the weekend rain. I was just a bit miffed the other day they refused to look at it properly.

Quick update: Cars been in the workshop since Monday and they thought my knock may have been something loose in the sub frame yet after tightening more than few loose bolts, its still makes the noise. The suspension seems to be OK although they are now isolating each rear spring to see if its that because although they can recreate the knock when driving around, they are having trouble finding the source.

Will post the results once they work it out, I dont want it back until it is and if they cant fix it I will sell it and get a B9 or move to an r8. Cant stand cars that rattle and knock. Pet peeve of mine.

Final update, turns out it was a suspension spring that had opened up and was moving around on corners. This is now fixed Will work through the rest of the interior creaks rattles over the next few months.

Felt good to drive it again, was stuck driving a range rover vogue this last week, just not the same

Well done, its always good to get to the bottom of things. Biggest rattle I think, is the rear load area blind.

i fixed mine with some Velcro pads wrapped around the outer lugs
just need to sort one in my passenger seat

I removed both the rear blind and cover in the boot some time ago. it helped but there are more to be resolved. The car came with an after market sub woofer fitted and these never help. I am of the opinion the interior panels will need to be taken out and have some silicon put on the inside of them to stop them vibrating.

haha so true, it actually goes quite well for something so large. its a pain to park though, its like trying to drive a bus through a shopping centre car park.

On a side note the workshop said they had never seen a spring open up like my rear right did. They were quite perplexed. Not a common fault for the record.

So Jack Barclay knew the dash squeak issue and took the MMI cowling off fitted new clips and taped it so it is a snug fit.
Got it back and it’s good as new!
