Heated Mirrors & Seats

Couple of questions.
I have my mirrors set to tilt when parking (knob in position far left), do they heat up demist or only when the knob is in the centre position ?
If you put your heated seats on full (three red bars) do they lower themselves down as the cabin temperature rises ?

Not sure about the mirrors, but the seats do back off from level 3 after a while.

Door mirrors only heat with knob in 12 o'clock position; mirrors only drop if the knob is at 10 o'clock position
Doesn't make a lot of sense and less than ideal

Mirrors heat in any position if you make a change with Carista, its an option. I do it with all my VW's and Audi's, one of the changes I made on the day i took delivery.
