Hi Peeps,

thought I'd put a quick post out about my RS6 Brake Upgrade ...

I bought a set of RS6 calipers and Discs from Glen (Revolution) a few weeks ago, took the car up there and his guys fitted them, what can I say ... wow... this is how the car should have been from the factory. It feels like a totally stock setup, not over braked in anyway, but now with plenty of stopping power.

This is a 'bolt on' upgrade, although I think they also needed to change the flexi lines to accommodate the different mounting points. I also asked them to upgrade the brake fluid to handle the additional heat when I track the car (not very often).

if people are wanting more stopping power without the cost of upgrading to ceramics this is worth a look, very effective.

I'm booked at rockingham next week, will let you know if they hold up. I'll also be running yellow stuff pads for the track day.

Glad to hear youre happy with them, must say the std RS4 calipers are poop in comparison..!

It appears the bigger discs are cheaper??

Not sure on disc price but I have a front set of calipers to sell if anyone might be interested they're as new covered 4 k miles from new
