Advice on sale price - Sepang '64 plate

Post by richj » Sun Jul 09, 2017 8:11 am

All

I've just moved jobs and my new company also has a Fleet Department where company cars are 'encouraged' so the RS is going :boohoo:

I've looked on Audi and Pistonheads and struggling to set on a price. Similar cars through a dealer are circa £40 - £42k so presumably with a profit margin of £5k I'd be looking at a dealer sale of between £35 - £37k with a slightly higher figure for a private sale ??

Your thoughts / advice / offers would be appreciated.

Cheers

Rich

Depends on the month too, so if like me youve got a feb 15, look towards the 39k, but a sept 14 would be more the 37. I got offered 40k trade in from Aberdeen audi against an r8...but the original offer was 37.

Turned it down and kept the car.

Think your prices are correct, dealer will sell for the higher price but will include warranty and a little piece of mind.

For a private sale and if I were buying, I'd be looking to pay at the lower price, due to spec, No leather, no hill hold and no keyless go. Sorry.
If its got the panoramic roof then thats a good plus it seems on these cars.
Looks Good condition and has the sports pack, black optics and sepang so is desirable.

Depends how quick you want to sell, price at 40k and take offers IMO

Thanks all. Not sure what happened to the pics - they looked fine in the preview 😳

Now sold to a reputable dealer for a price which worked for us both. Someone will get a nice car while I move to an XC90 Hybrid - never thought I'd see the day - BIK has a lot to answer for !!

I'm sure I'll be back.

We got a T8 too for the BIK benefit.... plus, the T8's do shift for such a huge car (0-60 in 5.6 i think). We love ours, great car..
